Praise the Lord!
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched —this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.
One of the things that we need to realize about the Scriptures is that the apostles didn’t have any ulterior motive to writing the Scripture. Their proclamation that Jesus is the Messiah would not make them popular and being a Christ follower put their lives in danger. yet they recorded what they saw because it happened! You and I stand on the shoulders of men and women who faithfully stewarded what God revealed to them. What are we willing to do in response?
