For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war."
This prophetic utterance was a rebuke to King Asa, who was bargaining with his enemy to ensure peace in Judah and in so doing, displayed a lack of trust in God. It is easy to display commitment to God in a worship experience, but how do we respond when opportunities come that attempt to woo our hearts away from God's commands? God is looking for those who will choose to do things God's ways over what seems convenient or even safe
